Welcome to The Agency for Jewish Learning
Pittsburgh’s Central Resource for Lifelong Jewish Learning

“You shall teach them carefully to your children and talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, when you lie down and when you arise.” (Deuteronomy 6:7)

Connecting Jewish Pittsburgh’s Learners and Educators

AJL programs reach from our central offices in Squirrel Hill to all communities of greater Pittsburgh. From teacher training and adult learning to teen education, study tours and library resources, our programs strengthen and promote Jewish life in the Pittsburgh region and impact the world beyond.  We serve all ages and learning needs through our departments and programs.
