Act 48 Continuing Education at AJL

The Agency for Jewish Learning serves the broad community of Pittsburgh-area educators as a provider of continuing education classes under the requirements of Pennsylvania’s Act 48 legislation.

Since 1999, educators holding Pennsylvania public school certification are required to participate in ongoing professional education.

The Jewish Teacher Institute at AJL provides class offerings toward meeting Act 48 requirements.
