“Adult education ought to be a quest for forgotten questions and an endeavor to relate our tradition to those questions. Our effort must be to interpret Judaism in terms of human existence.” Abraham Joshua Heschel
Pittsburgh Melton MP3 Site

Adult Learning at the AJL is rooted in the Jewish tradition of lifelong learning and study. Through innovative and engaging course offerings in Jewish literature, art and music, Hebrew language, Torah, Talmud and Kabbalah, students explore the breadth of Jewish knowledge contained in the written, oral and cultural traditions. In keeping with AJL's Mission of building community capacity, programs are offered wherever possible in collaboration with synagogues, the JCC, the United Jewish Federation and other organizations.
