Israel Programs

The Agency for Jewish Learning is committed to creating real connections between students and adults in Pittsburgh’s Jewish community and Israel. Efforts include Israel-education opportunities for teachers as well as students.

AJL works to build capacity in our educational institutions, to bring Israeli students and educators to our schools and youth programs, and to promote educational travel to Israel. Content that engages students with Israel is an important component of the AJL sponsored J-SITE teen program, as well as in other Teen Engagement programs across the community.

For more information, click on the Passport to Israel and Israel Scholarship Program links on the left, or contact the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, which administers both programs, at (412) 992-5208.

My Heart is in the East, but I am in the farthest reaches of the West.
