Rabbi Scott Aaron’s Blog

Rabbi Scott Aaron, AJL’s Community Scholar, posts a blog to The Jewish Chronicle, “Drops of Honey.”

Drops of Honey focuses on Jewish education in all its rich aspects here in Pittsburgh and throughout the Jewish world! The name comes from an old Jewish custom of placing drops of honey on the letters of the Hebrew alphabet so that as small children trace the letters with the fingers as they learn each letter, they associate learning with sweetness.

Aaron’s blog is a resource to Jewish education professionals of all denominations, and to the dedicated lay people who work along side them to provide quality Jewish education in all its forms. His blog shares with its readers (whether rabbi, Jewish professional, or just an interested consumer), accessible information about Jewish education so that confident choices can be made in individuals’ own Jewish lives.
